Babraham Research Campus Entrepreneur Fellowship Initiative

24/02/2025

Babraham Research Campus is a hub for collaboration and innovation, and its success is driven by our community and our shared commitment to drive science forward and make an impact.

We want to ensure that everyone on campus has access to the knowledge, skills and network they need to develop their careers. This year, we are launching the Babraham Research Campus Entrepreneur Fellowship, a new training opportunity open to everyone on campus. This is a unique opportunity to join a select programme designed to develop aspiring entrepreneurs that is part of the A@B programme.

Fellows on the programme will gain:

  • Invaluable Commercial Knowledge – Learn the fundamentals of Intellectual Property, Investment & Funding, and Market Access through A@B’s proven educational materials.
  • Hands-On Entrepreneurial Training – Develop real-world business skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
  • Networking Opportunities – Connect with an elite community of founders, investors, mentors, and industry experts within the Babraham Research Campus and beyond.
  • Flexible Project Integration – Apply your learning to an existing project (with employer permission) or a hypothetical venture based on your research.
  • Enhanced Career Prospects – Build essential transferable skills, including presentation and communication, to accelerate your career in academia or industry.

This year, up to four fellows will be selected, with two spots specifically reserved for Babraham Institute attendees, ensuring fair and inclusive participation. Building on the foundations of Accelerate@Babraham and the Campus Entrepreneurship & Careers Network, the Entrepreneur Fellowship is part of our wider ambition to provide opportunities for everyone on campus to develop their careers. This comes under our three pillars of the Entrepreneurship & Careers Network, which delivers a holistic overview of professional development.
