Job DescriptionPetMedix is an early-stage biotech pharmaceutical company based in a fantastic new building on the Babraham Research Campus, Cambridge, UK. Having recently raised Series B capital, PetMedix is now looking to realise its global ambitions to become the world leader in innovative antibody-based therapeutics for companion animals (dogs and cats).PetMedix is currently seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and highly detail-oriented IP administration assistant with a proven background in patent or legal administration. The candidate will work in an admin team alongside our Director of Intellectual Property and our Executive Assistant/Office ManagerResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to: ● Assisting our Director of Intellectual property (in-house patent attorney) in managing document flow for IP processes● Coordinate document management and storage● Maintain schedules of IP ● Monitor due dates for legal reports and for making payments as well as running patent attorney diary and due date reminders● Track IP invoices and budget ● Maintain patent and competitor watches ● Work closely with our Executive Assistant and Office manager and assist when required Desired skills:● Previous experience (biotech/industry) in the activities of an in-house patent department would be useful● Excellent organisational and communication skills● Self-motivated and able to work independentlyTermsThis is a full-time role with a competitive salary in line with experience and other benefits such as company share options, private pension plan, bonus scheme, and health insurance.
