About Us

Concr is an emerging predictive software platform built to combat cancer. Concr combines cutting edge machine learning techniques with deep scientific understanding of tumour progression to accurately predict cancers evolution in response to treatment. This will enable clinicians to adapt treatments proactively, rather than reactively, to prevent treatment resistance and improve treatment efficacy through precision medicine.

As such, we are looking to hire a graduate software developer. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of new software systems, designing and developing software alongside the development manager. You may also be required to update existing software. Although your role will be highly technical, at Concr we encourage our developers to take leadership over projects. As such, you will have the opportunity to develop project management skills.

To ensure success as a graduate software developer, you should have a good working knowledge of basic programming languages, the ability to learn new technology quickly, and the ability to work in a team environment. Ultimately, a top-class graduate Software Developer provides valuable support to the design team while continually improving their coding skills.


• Assisting the development manager with all aspects of software design and coding

• Attending and contributing to company development meetings

• Learning and improving coding skills by developing solutions with the team

• Working on bug fixes

• Monitoring software performance and benchmarking

• Responding to requests from development team

• Gathering information to improve software performance and functionality

• Conducting development tests

• Writing reports


• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, or computer science, bioinformatics, or similar discipline

• Programming skills – Python

• Knowledge of statistics, modelling, and machine learning

Highly Favourable Skills

• Master’ degree in bioinformatics, biotechnology, or similar

• Experience with computer vision, deep learning, (...)

• Experience analysing ‘omics data

• Experience with dealing diverse imaging datasets

• Willingness to learn diverse fields of application from business development to medical research
