BioBabraham 2025

23/06/2025

Last week's BioBabraham Symposium was a vibrant celebration of innovation, collaboration, and life science leadership on Babraham Research Campus. With 25 speakers sharing fascinating insights into their companies' cutting-edge research, the agenda was packed with thought-provoking content and exciting developments happening right here on campus.

Some of the talks included:

🔹Sam Kamali, Myonerv, who showcased their wearable device designed to monitor and treat stroke-induced upper limb paralysis.

🔹 LinkGevity, who introduced their pioneering approach to age-related disease with Anti-Necrotic™, a first-in-class therapy targeting necrosis—an under-recognised driver of biological decline. Their preclinical data show promising potential for protecting against kidney disease and cellular degeneration.

🔹 BI Imaging, Supporting researchers with cutting-edge technologies -from slide scanning to light-sheet microscopy - the team enables high-resolution imaging and expert analysis across a range of biological samples. They shared how these tools are advancing discovery on Campus.

These are just a few examples of the incredible research happening on Campus!

We were thrilled to welcome over 150 attendees - a fantastic mix of scientists, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem partners who brought energy and curiosity to every session. The event concluded with an investor networking session in the bar, where connections continued to flourish.
