We are pleased to let you know that HoverAid will be on the Babraham Research Campus on 15th September 2021 offering rides on one of their hovercrafts!

HoverAid is a small humanitarian charity working in Madagascar to reach people that live in areas that are unreachable by roads with their relief work to bring aid to remote places by providing clean water, sanitisation, buildings for schooling and medical care that is so badly needed. The video in the link explains what HoverAid is about in one minute, so please watch at https://vimeo.com/271701909

From 12 noon until 2pm, HoverAid will be offering rides to campus staff; a recommended donation to the charity is £10 per person per ride or company donations to provide some fun for small teams of staff.

HoverAid will be based in the overflow car park at the front of the Hall and offering rides to campus staff only in the front paddock. Please join in as an individual or as a company to provide fun for your staff and show your support to this charity which is based locally in the UK, Netherland and France. Each ride will be for up to 4 people, and will take approximately 6 minutes.

There will be more information about the charity available on the day and if you’d like to support them and book a ride on their Hovercraft, please see the attached flyer for more details to sign up and make a donation.

For those that participate in this event, there will be ice creams and refreshments available, kindly supported by Baxter Storey.

Places are limited so please sign up early to secure your ride and it’s easy to make a donation online!
